Software License
By downloading Aegis Chess, you are granted a revocable, non-exclusive license to use the software for personal, non-commercial entertainment.
Premium Unlock (In-App Purchase)
The base game is free. The Champion AI requires a one-time $1.00 purchase. Because this transaction is handled by Microsoft, all refund requests must be processed through your Microsoft Account dashboard.
If you uninstall the application, your purchase remains permanently tied to your Microsoft ID and will restore automatically upon reinstallation. No action on your part is required to reclaim a previous purchase.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Aegis Chess solely for its intended purpose as a personal chess game. You may not:
- Use the software for commercial purposes without written permission
- Rent, lease, or sublicense the application
- Use the application in any way that violates applicable laws
Intellectual Property
The Stockfish chess engine utilized in the Champion Tier is open-source (GPLv3). However, decompiling, reverse engineering, or modifying the proprietary MAUI UI wrapper, Monetization Service, and LEDO-TECH visual assets is strictly prohibited.
All game branding, UI designs, visual assets, logos, and the "Aegis Chess" name are the intellectual property of LEDO-TECH GAME STUDIO and may not be reproduced without permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Aegis Chess is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. LEDO-TECH GAME STUDIO does not warrant that the application will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall LEDO-TECH GAME STUDIO be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the application. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the Champion AI unlock ($1.00 USD).
Termination
LEDO-TECH GAME STUDIO reserves the right to revoke your license at any time if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must delete all copies of the application.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international law. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved through arbitration in a mutually agreed-upon jurisdiction.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
